Warming Up For The Holidays

Our Relief Society Meeting for all the sisters for the month of August is going to be a lot of fun.  We will be "Warming Up for the Holidays" by using all of our many talents and creating some fun things for the holidays.  It will be held on September 17th at the church house from 9 am until 2 pm.  You can come and go as you please or you can stay the whole time.  There will be a luncheon at 12:30 so even if you don't sign up to make anything be sure to come and have some yummy lunch.  The projects we will be working on will be on display on Sundays by the Relief Society Room so be sure to get signed up.  It is important to sign up and pay your money by August 28th so we have enough supplies for everyone to make what they would like.  For those not able to sign up on Sunday you can sign up here on the blog.

The options for projects will be; Serving platters, purse size Book of Mormons, Family Home Evening Activity Kit, Halloween Pinwheels, Christmas Banner, Velvet Bookmarks,  Christmas cards and tags, set of 3 pumpkin decorations.  We will also have a humanitarian quilt to work on as well as a cooking demonstration.

This will included 33 items, 

33 scripture stories, spiral bound, to go along with each item, 

and a bag. (Haven't found that yet!)

Project #4 - Halloween Pinwheels: $10

 Project #5 - Velvet Fall Pumpkins: $8 

includes set of 3 

Colors will vary.  You will have to find your own tops once pumpkins are in season.

Project #6 - NOEL banner: $10

Project #7 - Velvet Bookmarks: $5 each
