Reverse 911

We currently do not have an emergency preparedness specialist in our ward since we have split. We wanted to inform you of an important article that was in the newspaper.  With the recent flooding, and some area's such as Rockville needing to be evacuated, they found out that the reverse 911 comes in handy and is very important to have in case of an emergency. 
Many of us do not have a land line and would miss an important message such as this if it were to happen.  There is a website you can go to to register your cell phone number.  Make sure you get this done so you can be in the know if there is an emergency.  It is used for things such as personal safety, disaster, or missing or endangered children.  911 register
